Tens or transcutaneous electro neuro stimulation is a method of treating pain with electrical stimulant by irritating the sensitive nerve endings in the skin. It has a role to block receptors for pain. An alternating low-frequency pulse current is used for the tens. Duration of the procedure is about 20 minutes long. The patient should feel a slight current, tingling. Indications: in the control of acute, chronic and neurogenic pain, neuralgia, radiculopathy, arthrosis, periarthritis, arthritis and sports injuries.

Diadynamic currents are low-frequency currents, and the physiological effect of these currents is irritation of nerve fibers that carry pain and vasodilation of blood vessels. Therapeutic the effects of these currents are - reduction of pain, swelling and inflammation, increase of muscle contraction and increased local circulation.

Galvanization is a direct current where the direction of current flow is from cathode (-) to anode (+). The cathode is always placed distally, the direction of current flow is always towards the heart and follows the venous circulation. The positive electrode is placed on place of pain, due to its analgesic effect. Side effects are burns on skin. Indications: paresis and paralysis of peripheral nerves, rheumatic diseases, except inflammatory in the acute phase, vascular diseases and circulatory disorders, and posttraumatic edema.

Interference currents are low-frequency currents that occur endogenously in tissue by interference of medium frequency currents from two independent circuits (1-100Hz). They intersect at the site of application. Higher frequencies have an analgesic effect, while lower ones have irritants. Application in the area of metal is allowed, they do not cause burns, and are well tolerated. This current is not introduced from the outside, as with other methods, it is already created in the tissues. Indications: treatment of all traumas, callus formation, neuralgia, in all degenerative diseases, regeneration damaged nerves.

Electrophoresis is the administration of a drug using galvanic current.

Electro stimulation is a current stimulus of a certain intensity, frequency and duration in order to induce muscle contraction in deprived muscles.

Ultrasound therapy is a procedure of applying ultrasound energy for therapeutic purposes. Ultrasound has an analgesic effect (reduces pain), accelerates tissue regeneration and reduces it muscle spasm. It causes reabsorption of swelling and increases local blood circulation.

Magnetotherapy is the application of a low-frequency magnetic field in therapeutic ones purposes. It can be applied over clothes and plaster. During the therapy, the patient does not feel any sensations. Duration of the application is usually about 30 minutes, and the solenoid itself applies directly to the desired region. In case of application of plate magnets, their fixation with straps is necessary.

Super inductive system or high-frequency magnet is a new method of treatment in physical therapy. This type of therapy removes pain code in a short period of time for different conditions, whether acute or chronic. The super inductive magnet is unique technological solution for the treatment of the nervous, muscular and articular-skeletal system.

Apparatus lymphatic drainage or pressure therapy is applied in order to eliminate harmful products of metabolism and excessive fluid, putting pressure on blood vessels, lymph courts and nodes. The treatment lasts 30 to 40 minutes. The patient is in a supine position, in comfortable cotton wardrobe and socks. Upon completion of treatment, the patient may continue his usual activities. The treatment is painless and can be applied on daily basis.

Hilt laser - high intensity laser is a therapy with stimulated light energy. It allows deep tissue penetration, up to 12 W in continuous mode, it has the power up to 50 times stronger than cold lasers. Laser radiation can be applied spotting on painful places, by scanning technique reflexively, by acting on reflexes zones, Vale points as well as acupuncture points (laser acupuncture).

Kinetek or Arthromot is the most modern device for passive mobilization. The device is also known as the robot in physical medicine, which gives a modern approach physical therapy in order to restore normal mobility, as well as obtaining maximum amplitude of movement in the joint in a very short time. Kinetek (Arthromot) enables the performance of passive movements, without the active participation of the patient and without involving his muscular strength.

Tekar therapy is based on the application of radio frequency waves that cause heat reaction in the tissue. It is applied through two electrodes whose source is a radio wave generator. With the help of a special cream as a contact agent, by pressing on the skin, radio waves they stimulate the bodys internal energy and emit a sufficient amount of heat needed to reduce pain, inflammation and improve blood circulation. They are just therapy can be performed with a gentle massage (which is especially recommended when there is tension muscles), with passive stretching (when it is necessary to increase the mobility of a part of the body) and voluntary muscle activation (contributes to muscle relaxation).

Shockwave leads to pain relief (analgesia), improved microcirculation and muscle relaxation. It stimulates the cells that produce collagen and bone tissue, which accelerates the healing and regeneration of damaged tissue. Shock wave is designed not to damage the skin. Indications: calcifications in soft tissues (heel spurs) thorn, shoulder muscle tendons, Achilles tendon), PAIN in muscles, attachments, tendons (tennis elbow, jumping elbow, golf elbow, swimming arm, throwing arm, running knee), in frozen shoulder syndrome, in increased muscle tone (trigger muscle points), in sports injuries.

The BIOPTRON lamp eliminates and relieves pain by penetrating polarized light deep into the tissues and accelerates healing, radically reduces inflammation and stimulates blood circulation. The therapy is safe for all skin types, without side effects. The length of each treatments are easily adjusted on a minute scale. The sloping shape of the appliance makes it easier placing it in different positions so that all parts of the body can be treated.

Spinal cord extension is a painless treatment technique that is most common used in patients with lumbar and cervical syndrome. Traction begins a few days after acute pain. By stretching the spinal column and the corresponding muscles and ligaments, the intervertebral space increases and thus significantly reduces or completely removes pressure on nerve structures.

Hydromassage is one form of hydrotherapy and massage, which is performed with help of whirlpool tubs, whose dimensions and shape allow every patient to be able to take comfortable and relaxing position. Hydromassage is performed with the help of water pumps with hot water temperature regulator and strong water wave. In that manner two therapeutic effects of the water wave are used, soft tissue massage and heat effect thermo mineral or ordinary water, the temperature of which is individually adjusted.

Kinesitherapy is a field of physical therapy that deals with the application of movement in purposes of treatment and as part of physical therapy is one of the most important aspects medical rehabilitation. Kinesitherapy gained even more importance precisely because movement leads to the engagement of other organ systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, etc. That is why today kinesitherapy is an obligatory part of rehabilitation only in diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system but also in diseases of the heart and blood vessels, diseases of the respiratory organs, nephrological, neurological and others. The official position of the WHO is that moderate physical activity is the best way to preserve and improve your health!
